They form two perfectly threaded threads in their typical spring shape, one external and the other Internal. The external allows the Insertion of the thread in a threaded hole, with a specific tap, while the Internal allows to receive a screw with the upmost precision. The drive tang is essential for the thread Insertion operation into the hole, easily removed after mounting with the help of a simple tool called trimmer. The wire thread Inserts have an external diameter larger than the hole where it is housed. The elastic deformation that undergoes entering into the hole gives a firm holding force to the walls of the thread, preventing it to come out.
